Where: Saguaro HS
Dear SUSD CTE and DMF Teachers,
We are excited to have the opportunity to showcase your incredible Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs by hosting an interactive table at the 2025 SUSD Expo! Student and teacher representation is requested and this event will count as Stipend Level 2: 8.0 - Hands on Experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to engage students, parents, and community members, highlighting the hands-on learning and career pathways offered through CTE across the district.
Event Details:
* Date: Wednesday, November 5th
* Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
* Location: Saguaro High School
Setup Schedule & Requirements:
To make your program truly shine, we are asking for your help in preparing an engaging, hands-on experience:
1. Student Engagement: Please bring 2 to 4 current students from your program to staff the table. Their enthusiasm and personal stories are the most powerful way to recruit future students.
1. Interactive Display: The most successful tables feature a hands-on activity or demonstration. Please plan to bring a compelling, interactive example of what your students learn.
* Examples: Culinary Arts dessert samples, Engineering robot demonstrations, Nursing vital signs checks, IT simulations, etc.
1. Setup Time: Please arrive for table setup between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. All materials should be ready for the public opening at 5:00 PM.
For additional background and general event information, please refer to the district page: 2025 SUSD Expo - Scottsdale Unified School District 48
Please RSVP to confirm your program's participation by October 24th end of school day (so we can allocate tables and space accordingly). Please include teacher and student names.
We look forward to a dynamic and successful 2025 SUSD Expo!
Sincerely,
